A much-deserved homage to my wonderful editor, writing partner, friend, Big Brother, etc. [Beedo:
Aw, shucks, now I’m all bashful!] This
is, as you may have guessed, Beedo Sookcool as a child, from a scene in
that fanfic magnum opus of his that you may have heard him
mention on his site. I made him by putting the head of the original
POTF2 Greedo -- not the CommTech chip one that had knee joints --
onto an Episode I Tatooine Anakin body, and then giving
him the hands of POTJ Ellorrs Madak, the Duros. (Duros hands
work incredibly well for smaller-scale Rodians!) His clothes are
painted various shades of light blue, made by mixing French blue with
various whites (or not); for his metallic purple eyes -- a very rare
color for Rodians, I might add -- I mixed purple pearl with silver.
His light blue toy gun came from the POTJ Bespin Guard, and his
blanket is a light blue piece of felt of the sort you can get from any
craft store.
In this picture, he’s wrapped up in his blanket pretending to be a ghest,
a long reptilian creature that is one of Rodia’s most fearsome
predators. Isn’t he sooo cuuute?
