An easy-ish custom for those wondering what to with extra POTJ Duros. Leslomy is one of a few rather inconspicuous Duros (Duroses?) from Jabba’s palace, but her picture in the Decipher Customizable Card Game (shown above) is really just Ellorrs Madak imposed on a Jabba’s Palace scene. So, because I like to
be creative -- and because I happened to have picked up some ginchy
Purple Pearl paint (Testors Model Master Acryl) very inexpensively at the local hobby shop -- I decided to make her flightsuit purple! She’s got to have other
clothing besides the usual Duros light aqua thing, I figured.
Leslomy’s head, arms, and legs come from POTJ Ellorrs Madak (the
Duros), and they are attached to a Bespin Escape Leia torso for
that svelte, beanpole look so characteristic of the Duros. The whole
outfit is painted a mixture of about one-half the abovementioned Purple
Pearl to one-half white, and the trim is pure Purple Pearl. (Just a
warning: it may take a few layers of paint to properly cover
the Duros’ pearly aqua paint, but it does eventually.) Her hands are
leftover from a POTF2 Ewok Celebration Leia, whose hands are
much bigger than Bespin Escape Leia’s and therefore give the proper
Duros long fingers. They are painted a mixture of French Blue (Testors
Model Master Acryl) and sandgelb (Testors Model Master Acryl
4789). Ellorrs’s gun is added for a finishing touch.
