Yes, I know Hasbro has already made a 3.75” ROTS Captain Raymus Antilles. But there was I time when I didn’t know that, and picked up a ROTS Bail Organa in order to make one. Not being one to waste a good piece of custom fodder when it comes my way, I decided to make one anyway, taking a slightly a different route.
As you may know, Denis Lawson (who played Wedge Antilles in Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi) was asked if he’d play Capt. Antilles in ROTS, but declined. (Which is probably just as well, since his Antilles is not supposed to be related to Captain Antilles, anyway!) So I thought I’d do a bit of a “what if” custom: what if Lawson had played this Antilles, after all? With some alterations to the Bail Organa neck, I attached a head from Wedge from the POTF2 Rebel Pilots 3-pack (thanks to a generous donation from OWJ of the Rebelscum forums) and made him a soft-goods shawl/wrap thing (thanks to fabric sent by JediKitty). Yes, I know Lawson probably looks older than this now, but there’s nothing a little theatrical makeup (or acrylic paint) can’t do to restore that youthful look!
