At last! Since I made a Rebel Cheerleader, the natural thing to do was
to also make an Imperial one. This was suggested to me by the
Rebelscum.com forum moderator known as Mousedroid, and to him is this
custom duly dedicated.
Like the Rebel Cheerleader, the torso and skirt come from Episode
I Padmé Naberrie. Likewise the head, although I pulled
off Padmé’s long, fancy hairdo and replaced it with the braid
hairpiece from POTF2 Slave Leia, filling in space with Sculpey
where necessary.
In keeping with the darker and “badder” image of the Empire, I decided
I would give her more bare skin than the Rebel Cheerleader, so I
replaced Padmé’s arms with those from a leftover POTF2
Ceremonial Leia (any bare arms will do, really) and took the long,
sinuously poised legs from Slave Leia (in contrast to the
ballet-first-position legs on the Rebel Cheerleader, which come from
Ewok Celebration Leia).
Her outfit is painted in silver and flat black (both Testors Model
Master Acryl--getting that darned Imperial logo right took forever), and
her hair is a mixture of black and dark brown, with silver accents on
the Slave Leia hairpiece. The pom-poms are 1/2” in diameter and came
very inexpensively from any craft store; she holds on to them (at least
to the one she’s holding over her head) with pieces of toothpick stuck into them.
So, Mouse, this gal’s for you. I hope you like what you see!
