Since reading Blood and Honor (Dark Horse Comics, 1999), I’d been wanting to make a custom of Baron Soontir Fel -- sometime Corellian farmboy, TIE fighter ace, and eventual defector to the Rebellion. Only recently, however, did I finally get hold of the Saga TIE Fighter Pilot body I needed to complete the custom. (Here a big “thank you” goes out to Pendragon in Maine!) I gave him the head of ROTS Bail Organa -- whom I always thought looked much more like the Baron than like Jimmy Smits -- and altered the hair and face with just a tiny bit of paint, sculpting, Dremel tooling. The helmet is removable, of course. Note that Fel has two chest boxes, one with tubes and one without, depending on whether or not he’s wearing his helmet. He’s painted in the colors of his TIE squadron, the 2/181st.
