(Cleric / Light mage from Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones)
Natasha is a cleric / healer / light magic user type from Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones, a tactical RPG for the Game Boy Advance. Fire Emplem: TSS has the usual tactical RPG plot: the ruler of some otherwise OK kingdom, in this case Grado, inexplicably goes from being bad to good, usually because he is under the power of some ancient evil, which is also the case here. Natasha is a cleric from Grado, and she is branded a traitor to her country when she suggests that all might not be well with her sovereign. Early in the game she is pretty much only a healer, but can be promoted to a really rear-kicking advanced light magic user (given the title “Bishop” in this game -- move over, Kathryn Jefferts Schori!).
Natasha is based on an Obitsu slender soft-bust doll body and an Obitsu W-02 head, hand-painted by the exceedingly talented corsetkitten. Since there are no full-length pictures of Natasha in the game (other than her head shot and her sprite), I didn’t have much to go on. She’s blond, and wears a sort of white mantilla or hood (since her character is a “cleric” -- basically a nun), and her sprite’s colors are white and light blue -- and that’s all one can tell from the game itself. So I sewed her a basic Med-Ren princess-type dress and cloak in white and light blue satin and white velour, and topped her off with a velour mantilla. As finishing touches, I gave her a little waist pouch (from a package of them found at Michael’s) and made her a staff (from a swizzle stick, a glass bead, and a little DAS Pronto).
If I were less lazy (and less busy) than I am, I could have made one or two other characters from Fire Emblem: TSS for Natasha to do her job on (including Joshua, the roving-swordsman-who’s-really-a-prince whom Natasha can marry at the end of the game if things work out right). But since I didn’t, here she is with one of my simple kitbashed men, Percy (wearing the exquisite Chosen One cassock made and sold by Triad Toys).
